Kayla Praino, PA-C

Kayla Praino is a newly board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Orthopaedic Specialists of Connecticut in 2024. Kayla obtained her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University in 2021.Throughout her undergraduate career and during her gap year, Kayla worked as a Physical Therapy Aide in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, developing her passion for orthopedics. In 2024, Kayla graduated from Marist College with her Master's in Science- Physician Assistant Studies. During PA school, Kayla often would seek opportunities to assist in orthopedic cases in the operating room and took a dedicated orthopedics elective to further advance her skill set.
With a strong background in medical sciences and orthopedics through previous work experience and clinical rotations, Kayla brings a fresh perspective to the team. Kayla is passionate about providing quality, patient-centered care and working with her patients to find a treatment plan that fits their needs and lifestyle.
