About Dr. Nikci

Dr. Nikci completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship under world-renowned hand surgeons at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and has worked with team physicians for the New York Yankees as well as Division I colleges.

  • Biography

    Valdet Nikci, M.D. is a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, he completed a five-year orthopedic residency at Rutgers University. He trained under world-renowned surgeons during a hand, upper extremity and microvascular fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. He has worked with team physicians for the New York Yankees as well as Division I colleges, including Princeton University and Rutgers University. Dr. Nikci has served as a research associate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and New York University School of Medicine. He was awarded traveling research fellowships in orthopedic surgery in Japan and Austria. He has also devoted his time to participate in humanitarian medical relief efforts in Haiti.
